However, if you do disable Dynaudio, what happens to the signal source for the normal treble/base speakers (which I think are all connected to J525)? These may need to be moved back to the rear of J794 (I think) If you just want to use the bog standard speaker system, then probably the FF00 string will suffice - this should just disconnect (in a software sense) J525 (Digital Sound Package unit) and the sub-woofers. Here's a screen shot from the MIBI in my car showing the overall coding for these Bytes I don't believe that it's done via an adaptation channel since disabling Dynaudio involves tinkering with a physical bit of kit - in my very limited experience, I've found that such exercises invariably are actioned via the module's coding string (I think).Īnyhow, I believe that the pertinent Byte(s) in address 5F are By te 4-7. peekay: I can only suggest how to disable Dynaudio feature on a MIBI (not MIBII). I also wonder which one turns off Dynaudio feature. I see Ross Tech 15.7.3 is no longer beta. Join Date:Jul 2008Location:Maribyrnong, VictoriaPosts:84

The result is that some folk have lost access to some of the MIBII screens (I understand that the functions in the lost screens still work - they just can't be accessed to change how they work) Unfortunately these cables running this software can have the effect of altering the children channels of some of the parent adaptation channels ( I wasn't aware that there was a parent-child relationship with adaption channels in the mk7 until the MIBII). Ross Tech has confirmed that the HEX+CAN cables running the current release version 15.7.2 (or older) aren't able to handle the new 24 bit structure of the MIBII (they are too slow in responding to the polling).

Unless you have the newer, faster HEX-NET cable, only use Beta version 15.7.3.

Please be careful when accessing the control module at address 5F. The MIBII table is starting to look as huge as the BCM - it currently has 926 x adaptation channels (and growing) There's admaps from the MIBII units of 9 x different vehicles from Australia, Europe, USA and Canada in my spreadsheet.

Peekay: HERE you go - I suggest that you download the spreadsheet rather than view it on-line ( dropbox can't seem to manage my formatting -sorry).
